Burny Cinders, Paddy Platypus, and Kooky Koala had a bit of a cricket challenge of their own. The Highlands Youth Hub welcomes any and all donations. As they are a charity all donations are tax deductible.
Highlands Youth Hub (HYH) has the potential to be the focal point for youth in the Southern Highlands. However we need your help to get there.
Located in Loseby Park, Bowral, directly opposite Bowral High School, the facility has been recently renovated and extended. It now incorporates a wide range of facilities and attractions, including a media suite, café and pool table, and is right next door to the skate park and tennis courts.
Operated by the Highlands Community Centre, HYH is for all young people in the Wingecarribee Shire. It provides a one stop shop for young people to learn new skills, access youth services, and just have fun.
But the future of the Hub is in doubt. Generous funding from NSW Community Services and Wingecarribee Shire Council got the Hub up and running, but after 30 June 2014, there is no funding to keep it operating. The loss of the Hub would be a huge loss to the local community.
The Triple Zero Challenge aims to raise funds to ensure the survival of the HYH. We appreciate any support that your organisation could offer us at this time.
