The building of The International Cricket Hall of Fame has been completed at Bradman Oval in Bowral, NSW.
The Bradman Oval at Bowral is where Sir Donald Bradman learned to play cricket and where his ashes are scattered. It is also the site of the Bradman Museum which houses much of Bradman’s personal collection.
It is therefore fitting that the Bradman Oval should be the site of the world’s one and only International Cricket Hall of Fame, an interactive exposition which will celebrate, analyse and interpret the playing of cricket across all countries since its beginning.
Funds for the building and for some of its content were provided by the Australian Federal Government, but more is required to deliver the world’s finest cricket exhibition. Your help is sought to complete the vision of a global tribute to a great game and to its greatest exponent.
Construction of the building commenced on 26 October 2009 you can be part of history by donating $1200 as a fully tax-deductible donation to The International Cricket Hall of Fame.
Your contribution will be permanently acknowledged with your name engraved on the face of one of only 334 bricks that form a prominent part of the building exterior, and by being included on an honour board in the foyer of The International Cricket Hall of Fame.
The world will be proud of The International Cricket Hall of Fame and you will be proud of your part in building it.
We are sincerely grateful for your assistance. On receipt of your donation you will be contacted in regard to the wording you would like on the acknowledgement.
