Fantastic Opportunity
Award winning international cricket umpire Simon Taufel will share his experiences in an Ashes ‘First Session’ public lecture at the Bradman Museum.
Simon will convey his first-hand experience of the excitement of those first sessions of Test matches – the anticipation, the players’ behaviour and performances, the crowds, those matches that exceeded expectations and those that underwhelmed. Simon is the Patron of the Bowral Cricket Club and has written numerous entertaining blogs for the Museum’s website and has collected quite a following.
This event coincides with the commencement of the 2013 Ashes series with the First Test starting at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Match play will be beamed in live on the big screen immediately after Simon’s presentation. Snacks and drinks will be available from the World Series Cricket Bar.
