The Sixers, lead by Moises Henriques, arrived in Canberra on Monday night ahead of the huge clash. Fresh from his starring role with the bat, Nic Maddinson has been named to likely assume his position back at the top of the order for the Sixers.
The batting line up which produced the highest ever total in Sixers history in the semi-final in Adelaide remains intact, with newly re-signed Jordan Silk again likely to assume his role at number five.
The Sixers have many ties to the Canberra region, with many of the squad part of the NSW Blues successful Shield final at Manuka Oval in 2014.
Canberra native Ryan Carters will relish the opportunity to play in front of family and friends on Wednesday night, while Nathan Lyon is also a former ACT representative player and formerly worked as a groundskeeper at the historic venue.
The bowling line-up also remains unchanged, with Test legend Brett Lee set to play his last ever match before retiring from all forms of cricket.
The squad is:
Moises Henriques
Sean Abbott
Doug Bollinger
Ryan Carters
