The Bradman Foundation has announced an on-going partnership with Steve Waugh Cricket to provide cricket coaching clinics for young Australian cricketers at the historic Bradman Oval in Bowral, in NSW’s Southern Highlands.
Aimed at young players – girls and boys – between 6 and 17, the cricket clinic partnership between the Bradman Foundation and Steve Waugh Cricket continues the tradition of providing a unique opportunity for young cricketers to develop their skills during the school holidays.
“There are fantastic benefits in attending a Steve Waugh Cricket clinic at Bradman Oval, the ground where Sir Donald first honed his skills,” said Rina Hore, Executive Director of the Bradman Foundation. “These clinics include admission to the Bradman Museum, an inspiring opportunity to learn about the world’s greatest batsman and the game’s heritage delivered by the Bradman team.”
“In addition, participants will have the chance to hold a significant item from the museum vault, and take part in the many discovery trails that engage children and cricket enthusiasts of all ages.”
“The number of Steve Waugh Cricket clinics held across NSW has been increasing – largely due to Steve’s philosophy on coaching. His values are very much aligned with the Foundation’s proven mix of fun, sportsmanship and inclusiveness, regardless of experience or ability,” said Rina.
