The Sydney Sixers will continue the party this summer as they host Semi Final #2 of the KFC T20 Big Bash League at Sydney’s Party Central, the SCG, on Wednesday, 5 February.

With the Perth Scorchers losing their match to the Melbourne Stars today, the Sixers finish the home and away season in outright second and avoid a trip across the country for the crucial match.

With solid crowds turning out to catch the magenta men all summer, a big crowd is expected to catch the match as Sydney’s favourite BBL team continue their run to the Final on Friday, 7 February.

Tickets for the match will be available through Ticketek with Sixers Members getting first access tomorrow from midday until 5pm. The Members pre sale is only available through online and phone sales only. Tickets will go on sale to the public from 10am on Wednesday 29 January.

Tickets are the same price as the regular season with adults from $20, kids from $5 and a family of four from $42.50.

This will be the first time the Sixers have hosted a Semi Final, having won on the road in BBL01 against the Hobart Hurricanes and the Perth Scorchers.

The Sixers will welcome back England international Ravi Bopara for the finals series, while scans tomorrow on Stephen O’Keefe will determine his available for the remainder of the tournament.
