Off spinner Manjot Singh added to NSW Blues squad for trip to Hobart

Cricket NSW Selectors have added Sydney Cricket Club off spinner Manjot Singh to their squad to travel to Hobart for the Bupa Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania starting on Friday.

The 26 year old off spinner has been added as cover. He has been in excellent form so far this season with two five-wicket hauls for NSW in the Futures League.

The NSW Blues currently sit on top of the Shield table with 12 points after four matches, with the West End Redbacks 2nd on ten points.

The Blues have several players in excellent form with Ryan Carters coming off a maiden First Class hundred against Queensland this week, while Stephen O’Keefe sits third on the Shield list of wicket-takers (15 at 21.60), while Doug Bollinger is fourth (14 at 21.85).
