Following extensive trials the Governor of the Thunder Nation, Mark Waugh, will select the Sydney Thunder’s community rookie at ANZ Stadium on Monday (November 24) at 1pm.
The successful player will be chosen from 16 cricketers representing eight different cultural backgrounds.
They will go head to head for the chance to claim a place on the Thunder list after they were scouted while taking part in the MoneyGram Thunder Nation Cup.
In his role as a national selector Mark Waugh will also be available to answer questions on Test squad selection.
