Steve Waugh Cricket Clinic at Bradman Oval these September School Holidays
Highlights from the July School Holidays
Many thanks to all the families who took part in our July school holiday activities at the Bradman Centre. Despite some rather cold and wet weather, it was wonderful to meet and chat with many visitors from overseas and all parts of Australia.

Team work on the Reflex Reactor
Skills Zone
The introduction of the activities in our ‘Skills Zone’ was a great success and seemed to bring out the competitive nature in the young and old alike! Congratulations to our current “Reflex Reactor’ record holders – Xavier (Canberra), Jack (Sydney), Josh and Lachlan (Brisbane), Charlotte (Pottsville) and Jorja from Rochester in Victoria. It was great to meet 84 year old Arthur from South Australia who didn’t break the record, but did promise to come back and try again next year!

Blind Cricket
The challenge of playing cricket when visually impaired was highlighted by our ‘Blind Cricket’ simulation. With bat in hand and wearing our specially designed glasses, many underestimated the skill required to make contact with the ball that has a bell in it.

Museum Discovery Trail
On many occasions our Museum Discovery Trail turned into a family affair, with everyone eager to help search for the answers to our quiz. With a theme based on South Africa, our visitors learned many new and interesting facts about this fascinating country.

There is always something new to discover at the museum
