It was Sir Donald Bradman’s vision that ‘cricket continue to flourish and spread its wings. The world can only be richer for it.’ To honour this vision and with Sir Donald’s consent, the Bradman Museum opened its doors in 1989 in what is now known as the Bradman Library. In 2010 and again in 2012, the Museum expanded to not only show the importance of the Don’s contribution to cricket and Australian history, but also cricket’s important role throughout the world.
