The 2013/14 Cricket NSW Grants Program is now open with funding available to Local Government Authorities, clubs, schools and associations for projects designed to provide opportunities for people to play cricket.
The main aim of the Program is to develop and expand on the number of playing and practice facilities available to cricketers of all ages across NSW and the ACT.
Funding is available for up to a maximum of 25% of the total cost of the project. To be eligible, projects must have commenced after 1 January 2013 and be scheduled for completion before 31 December 2014.
Game Development General Manager NSW/ACT, Cameron French, said the Cricket NSW Grants Program was designed to make cricket accessible to as many people as possible.
โOne of the key focus areas for Cricket NSW is ensuring a quality experience for all club cricketers. The grants program will deliver on that ambition and assist Local Governments, clubs, schools and associations in building new training and playing facilities, or upgrading their existing infrastructure,โ he explained.
Organisations interested in applying for the Grants Program should contact Cricket NSW either by phone (02 8302 6000) or email ([email protected]) to obtain a copy of the guidelines and application forms.
The first round of applications closes on Monday, 30 September 2013 with successful applicants to be notified by the end of October 2013.
